Dear Family and Friends,

I have recently returned from my 9th trip to India and wanted to share our experience with you. I have attached “India Adventures 2017”, which includes photos.

A group of village women have been making quality, handcrafted artisan soap since 2014. This provides them with income and our students with soap. It’s a win/win situation. Today, they are all village leaders in their Self Help Groups. 5500 village women are members of SHG’s at Pardada Pardadi.  They are receiving health and hygiene education, doing micro-banking and participating in activities that allow them to expand their horizons. When they first began this project, there were no smiles. Today, they radiate joy!

I have soap for sale at $6/bar. Scents include cinnamon, eucalyptus, orange, lavender, grapefruit, peppermint, and ginger. I can either deliver them to you or ship, whichever method works best. These soaps make great stocking stuffers, hostess or office gifts, as well as soap for your own homes.
